Johann Sebastian Bach's St Mark Passion contains recitatives and turbae by Reinhard Keiser (1674-1739). The reconstruction, edition and Vocal Score are by A H Gomme. This edition aims to provide a performing version of the setting of the Passion according to St Mark which is known to have been given in the Thomaskirche in Leipzig on Good Friday 1731.
