Krysztof Penderecki Suite per violoncello solo, formerly known as Divertimento. In 1994 Penderecki composed the three movements Serenade, Scherzo and Notturno under the title of Divertimento which were premiered by Boris Pergamenshikov in Cologne on 28 December 1994. This Divertimento was gradually expanded to eight movements and eventually published as Suite per violoncello solo.
