One of the most influential albums in the history of jazz, Miles Davis' 'Kind Of Blue' was first released on August 17, 1959 and marked a major turning point for the music. 'Kind Of Blue' represents some of the earliest examples of modal jazz, with the tunes based more on scales than chords. The idea was to allow the players free reign to go in any number of melodic directions. This folio is presented in transposed sketch score format.
