Robert MacKintosh c1745 -1807 is best known for his oustanding compositions of reels, strathspeys and jigs. He also collected and included other composers works in his books and this book of early Scottish tunes provides a useful and interesting reference for all players, scholars and enthusiasts of Scottish music.
