CONGRATULATIONS are in order for the student who reaches Level E of Alfred's Basic Piano Prep Course. In this lesson book the student moves out of the various five-finger positions and begins to play music involving extension of the hands to include intervals of a 6th, 7th and octave. No longer limited to any specific hand position, the student may now move freely over the keyboard, with musical results that are gratifying and highlty motivating in many ways.
